For the roasted peppers

  1. Roast the pepper

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Cut the bell pepper in half and place it in a baking dish. Roast for 40–45 minutes until the skin is blistered and lightly charred.

    The darker the skin becomes, the easier it will be to peel.

  2. Peel the pepper

    Allow the pepper to cool slightly, then gently remove the skin.

    Covering the pepper for a few minutes after roasting helps loosen the skin.

  3. Slice the pepper

    Cut the roasted pepper into thin strips.

    Use a sharp knife to keep the slices neat.
